George and Barbara shared a storybook romance that many of us only dreamed we had.

The only love letter Barbara Bush kept from George HW during World War II (the others were lost). It is dated December 12, 1943. “How often I have thought about the immeasurable joy that will be ours someday. How heartwarming! President Bush must be going through difficult times, but we know that Barbara is in a better place, hopefully greeting the daughter they lost very young in heaven.
