LibertySlate Candidates and Super Tuesday
This year’s “Super Tuesday” will see primaries held in California, Iowa, Maine, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Carolina, South Dakota and Virginia.
In Virginia, LibertySlate is encouraging you to support Michael McPadden in District 5. McPadden is in a very crowded Republican field but has distinguished himself as a true advocate of constitutional government.
In South Carolina, LibertySlate is encouraging you to support Mick Mulvaney in District 5. State Senator Mulvaney does not have a primary. He’s very highly ranked on our index because his opponent, 30 year incumbent John Spratt, is vulnerable. The Republican Liberty Caucus has also recommended a slate of candidates in South Carolina, including Nicki Haley for Governor. Read their suggestions at http://www.rlc.org/2010/05/23/rlc-sc-2010/.
In the high profile Nevada and California races, neither LibertySlate nor the Republican Liberty Caucus have issued endorsements or recommendations. LibertySlate and the California chapter of the Republican Liberty Caucus are both asking you to support John Dennis in Congressional District 8. Dennis will be on the ballot tomorrow facing a primary opponent.
LibertySlate is also recommending support for Mariannette Miller-Meeks in District 2.
Here (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/war-for-the-west-heats-up-on-super-tuesday-2010-06-07) is a good summary article about the races taking place tomorrow.
We hope you’ll vote for your LibertySlate and Republican Liberty Caucus-endorsed candidates tomorrow. Spread the word!
