Our #1 ranked candidate, U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul, won his primary in Kentucky yesterday — and it wasn’t even close! Now Rand will face Attorney General Jack Conway in November. The race is still our #1 opportunity for victory, so make sure to keep up to speed with it.

Our #2 ranked candidate, Mike Lee, is now in a run-off in Utah. Mike Lee and his opponent, Tim Bridgewater, knocked off a longtime incumbent, “Bailout Bob” Bennett at the Utah Republican Party Convention. Now, we need to help Mike Lee win the Primary on June 22. Any Republican in Utah will be able to vote for Mike Lee in that race — let’s deliver a victory for Mike Lee!

Both Rand Paul and Mike Lee have been endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus (http://www.RLC.org). Please view our candidate rankings and help our predictions come true:

http://libertyslate.com/candidates/candidates-by-rank

Our next big race is on June 8, where Virginia has the opportunity to help a Constitutionalist win the primary in District 5. The candidate’s name is Michael McPadden. He is doing well in polling and has raised a lot of money, but he will have to defeat 7 others in a primary — so let’s do our best to help Mr. McPadden in the coming weeks. If Mr. McPadden wins the primary, I believe he will be in an excellent position to be elected to Congress in November. You can donate to him directly at http://mcpaddenforcongress.com/.

Upcoming Primaries for LibertySlate Candidates

News

Uncategorized

The month of May has quite a few state primaries in which LibertySlate candidates will be put to the test. The Liberty Slate will list and rank, encourage support for, and host online events to promote a slate of Liberty Republican candidates running for Congress in 2010. Currently 23 Republican candidates for Congress are included in the slate, including Senate candidates Dr. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Chuck Devore of California, and Peter Schiff of Connecticut.

“Our country is at a crossroads, and it is clear that politicians are spending far beyond our means. The current members of Congress have decided not to make tough choices, but instead believe that government can be everything to everyone,” said Mr. Biterman. “The candidates endorsed by LibertySlate 2010 – only three of whom are incumbents – will provide a new voice of leadership and a new vision to restore prosperity.”

LibertySlate not only provides a listing of candidates, but also ranks candidates based on political issues, candidate websites, and likeliness for victory. The rankings will change throughout the campaign season. The highest ranked candidate is currently U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Rand Paul, who is running against Democrat-turned-Republican Secretary of State Trey Grayson in a high-profile Republican Primary for the open Kentucky Senate seat.

“LibertySlate’s endorsed candidates have solutions to the political issues that face our country. The challenge now is to increase their name recognition and to generate support for them among voters,” concluded Mr. Biterman. “Our endorsed candidates are running on platforms of Freedom, Peace, and Prosperity.”

LibertySlate is encouraging Tea Party activists, constitutionalists, libertarians, and others concerned about the direction our country is headed to log on to LibertySlate 2010 and take an active role on the campaigns of the selected candidates.”

To learn more about LibertySlate 2010, visit http://www.LibertySlate.com.
