Our #2 ranked candidate, Mike Lee, is now in a run-off in Utah. Mike Lee and his opponent, Tim Bridgewater, knocked off a longtime incumbent, “Bailout Bob” Bennett at the Utah Republican Party Convention. Now, we need to help Mike Lee win the Primary on June 22. Any Republican in Utah will be able to vote for Mike Lee in that race — let’s deliver a victory for Mike Lee!

Our next big race is on June 8, where Virginia has the opportunity to help a Constitutionalist win the primary in District 5. The candidate’s name is Michael McPadden. He is doing well in polling and has raised a lot of money, but he will have to defeat 7 others in a primary — so let’s do our best to help Mr. McPadden in the coming weeks. If Mr. McPadden wins the primary, I believe he will be in an excellent position to be elected to Congress in November. You can donate to him directly at http://mcpaddenforcongress.com/.

On May 1, Idaho LibertySlate candidate Chick Heileson will face off against Congressman Mike Simpson. On May 4, Ohio LibertySlate candidate John Mitchel will appear on the ballot against Steve Austria, the incumbent Republican in District 7. On May 18, LibertySlate candidate Pat Sellers will face several primary challengers in his bid to oust incumbent Republican Jim Gerlach.

In Indiana, which has a May 4 primary, LibertySlate supporters should vote for John Hostlettler for U.S. Senate and Travis Hankins in Indiana 9. Both were recently added to LibertySlate, so please learn more about them at http://libertyslate.com/candidates/candidates-by-rank/.

In Utah, there will be a Convention to decide who will be the Republican U.S. Senate nominee on May 8. The grassroots will have a strong presence, including brochures designed by Chris Rye, director of the awesome documentary For Liberty, and Michael Maresco, who is featured in the film. The project was executed over at the Ron Paul Forums.

There are two sets of brochures — one featuring grassroots liberty organizations, and one featuring grassroots candidates. They’re sharing a booth with the Oath Keepers and will be passing the literature out to the 9,000 guests in attendance.

On Wednesday, February 17 the LibertySlate rEVOLution MoneyBomb for Liberty Congressional candidates took place. The result of our efforts in creating the website www.LibertySlateMoneyBomb.com — which allowed individuals to donate to more than one candidate at a time — is something difficult to duplicate. The result was over $,5000 in contributions to the candidates via that website, with significant amounts also being contributed directly at the candidate websites.

ARLINGTON, VA —— With the election for Congress less than a year from now, LibertySlate 2010 has been launched to rank and solicit support for select Liberty Republican candidates for Congress in 2010.

Aaron Biterman, who serves as the Outreach Committee Chair for a caucus of libertarian Republicans called the Republican Liberty Caucus, has announced the site –– located at http://www.LibertySlate.com. The Liberty Slate will list and rank, encourage support for, and host online events to promote a slate of Liberty Republican candidates running for Congress in 2010. Currently 23 Republican candidates for Congress are included in the slate, including Senate candidates Dr. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Chuck Devore of California, and Peter Schiff of Connecticut.

“Our country is at a crossroads, and it is clear that politicians are spending far beyond our means.
