About Us

Growing up, I was told that the Republican Party was in favor of smaller, less intrusive government. I grew up in the ’80s, when Reagan was President.

During elementary school, the Republican Revolution of 1994 occurred — in which The Contract With America lead to a Republican majority in Congress. The Contract included measures to cut government waste, open up the books, and keep politicians accountable.

It was never enacted.  The Republicans sold us out.

Then came George W. Bush. I am proud to say I never voted for the man. I sensed he was lying from the beginning and my conscience would not permit me to vote for an individual who did not share my basic beliefs about the role of government.

We all know how that Republican experiment — from 2001 to 2009 — turned out.

Fortunately, there are some Republican candidates that believe in reduced government spending, balanced budgets, sound money, fewer regulations, the right of individuals to make their own choices, and reduced foreign wars

LibertySlate 2010 exists to give American voters an alternative to the status quo Republicans in Congress.

Candidates endorsed by LibertySlate favor constitutionally limited government, individual liberties, free markets, the rule of law, and civil liberties protections.

I urge you to support the candidates listed at our website.  LibertySlate welcomes your involvement and support.

Mission: LibertySlate 2010 is an online resource to direct grassroots Tea Party activists, constitutionalists, libertarians, and conservatives to Republican candidates for Congress in 2010. The candidates we promote and rank share our dedication to the Constitutional principles of limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility.

We list, rank, and review the candidate so you can choose to support the candidate in your state, the candidate that agrees with you on key issues, or the candidate who has the best chance to win.
